When I was in elementary school in Golden, Colorado, I used to run around my house with a toy microphone that had an 850KOA (local news radio station in Denver) logo on it. I was constantly telling stories about what was going on in the Steele household and beyond.

 

Fast forward 20 years and I make a living telling stories as a multi-skilled journalist and weekend anchor at NewsWest 9 in Midland/Odessa, Texas.
